FCAW WELDERS WANTED! - APPLEDORE

We are anticipating FCAW Welder opportunities in Appledore (EX39) and are currently getting ahead of the curve for candidates who may be interested.

Location: Appledore, EX39
Role: FCAW Welders
Anticipated starts: From 21/09
Rates:

PAYE £24.20 std per hour & £36.30 over 40 hrs + £8.90 per hour travel allowance (up to £356.00 per week)

UMBRELLA £32.40 std per hour & £49.11 over 40 hrs + £11.68 per hour travel allowance (up to £467.20 per week)

(Travel allowance is only paid for candidates who live 39 miles or more from site!)

Immediate starts anticipated

The work will involve heavy steel plate welding across ship projects. Candidates should be confident working from fabrication drawings and welding procedures, with experience in positional welding and structural steel.

We’re looking for:

• Relevant FCAW welding experience
• Experience working with heavy steel plate
• Relevant trade qualifications/papers/current codings
• Ability to pass a trade test
• A strong focus on safety and quality

Please note: Candidates will be responsible for arranging and covering their own accommodation and transportation.

All successful candidates will most likely be required to complete BPSS security clearance as part of the onboarding process.
