Job summary

Balfour Beatty Kilpatrick is seeking skilled Welders for future opportunities around Sellafield, Cumbria, as part of a major UK infrastructure programme. You will be involved in fabrication, repair and modification of metal components, working to exacting standards in a regulated environment.

Ideal candidates will hold an approved welding apprenticeship and Level 2/3 qualifications, have EN ISO 9606 coding, and a proven track record in industrial or nuclear heavy manufacturing settings, with

Qualifications

• Recognised apprenticeship in Welding or related engineering discipline.
• Level 2 or Level 3 Welding qualifications (or equivalent).
• BS EN ISO 9606 coded welding qualifications.

Responsibilities

• MIG, TIG, Stick and Flux-Cored welding activities.
• Interpreting engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Producing high-quality welds in line with project requirements.
• Supporting inspection and testing activities.
• Maintaining welding equipment and tools.
• Working collaboratively with fabrication and project teams.
• Adhering to strict safety, quality and compliance standards.
