Job Description

Gentech Recruitment is partnering with our client in Craigavon to recruit a Welder/Fabricator Supervisor. The role involves liaising with the Senior Fabricator & Fabrication Coordinator to establish workload requirements, reading and understanding pipe fabrication drawings, fabricating pipe sets for various diameters (carbon steel & stainless steel pipes from 65mm to 500mm), ensuring adherence to welding procedures, and maintaining safety and quality standards. The position is permanent with benefits.

Working hours: Monday - Thursday 7am-5pm, Friday 7am-4pm.

Responsibilities

1. Coordinate with senior staff to determine workload requirements.
2. Read and interpret pipe fabrication drawings.
3. Fabricate pipes according to specifications and drawings.
4. Ensure welding procedures and standards are followed.
5. Monitor and address safety issues, defects, and non-conformances.
6. Manage workflow to meet deadlines and specifications.

Essential Skills and Experience

• Previous MIG and TIG welding experience.
• Fabrication experience.
• Supervisory experience.
