Job summary

Questech Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Welder Fabricator for an immediate role with our client in South Elmsall, West Yorkshire. You will read 2D/3D drawings, MIG or TIG weld, and fabricate metal components from mild steel and stainless.

The ideal candidate has at least two years of welding experience, can measure and mark out accurately, and communicate well within a team.

Qualifications

• 2 years welder experience minimum.
• Experience with mild steel, stainless and galvanised sheet.
• Ability to read engineering drawings.
• MIG or TIG welding experience.
• Good communication skills.

Responsibilities

Welder Fabricator Afters/Lates

WELDER FABRICATOR

We are recruiting for a welder to work for our client who are located in South Elmsall, West Yorkshire.

Welder Fabricator:

• Read and follow engineering 2d & 3d drawings
• Mig welding or Tig welding
• Measuring and marking out cutting and bending lines
• Fabricating & construction metal components
• Working with mild steel / stainless and sheet metal
• Grinding and finishing completed products
• Operate the machines from time to time.

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCES & SKILLS:

• Excellent communication skills
• Welder experience of 2 years minimum
• Previously experience working with mild steel, Zintec & galvanised sheet. Ranging from 0.9mm to 30mm

THE HOURS:

You will be required to work on a day shift Monday - Thursday 2pm - 12.30am

THE PAY:

You will earn an hourly rate of up to £20.85 depending on experience.
