Job summary

The Best Connection in Wolverhampton is seeking a Welder/Fabricator to join our workshop. You will fabricate and MIG weld mild and stainless steel, read drawings, and produce bespoke fabrications to customer specifications.

This long-term, temp-to-perm role operates on daytime shifts (07:15–16:00 Mon–Thu, 07:15–13:15 Fri) and requires reliability, safety, and teamwork to ensure quality and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Fabricator Welder.
• Strong MIG welding experience.
• Ability to read and work from engineering drawings.
• Experience fabricating mild steel and stainless steel.
• Good attention to detail and ability to work to tight tolerances.
• Welding mask and basic fabrication hand tools required.
• Reliable, self-motivated and able to work as part of a team.

The Best Connection is currently recruiting for a Welder/ Fabricator for our Wolverhampton based client.

Pay rate is £15.00 per hour

Working hours are 07:15 till 16:00 Monday to Thursday and 07:15-13:15 on Friday

This is long term, temp to perm position.

As a Welder/Fabricator your duties will include:
