Job summary

Mole Valley Farmers in Witheridge is seeking a skilled Welder to join our team. The role is permanent and full-time, offering a 40-hour week with Monday to Friday shifts and a hands-on, workshop-based environment.

You will bring practical welding experience, read simple drawings, and contribute to quality steel fabrications that support British agriculture. The team values safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement, with good training and career progression opportunities.

About The Role

Contract: Permanent

Hours: Full-time

Hours of Work: 40 Hours per week, working Monday to Friday

Key Responsibilities Include

• Completing daily fabrication tasks with care and efficiency
• Delivering high-quality work with accuracy and attention to detail
• Reporting equipment faults and supporting workshop safety
• Maintaining a clean, organised, and safety-conscious workspace
• Following company procedures and health & safety regulations
• Supporting other duties as needed and contributing to a positive team environment

About You

• Practical experience in fabrication or welding
• Experience working in a workshop or yard environment
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings would be beneficial
• Understanding of welding techniques and equipment
• Awareness of health & safety regulations
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Problem-solving mindset and willingness to learn
• Strong sense of ownership and pride in workmanship
