Job summary

Welder/Fabricator (MIG & ARC) in Shipston-on-Stour is offered a straight permanent contract with an excellent hourly rate of £16–£18, rising to £21 per hour with overtime opportunities.

You will work Monday to Friday 8:00am–4:30pm in a specialist workshop manufacturing high-end steel windows and metalwork. Join a financially stable, well-established team focused on quality and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Welder/Fabricator with architectural steel.
• Skilled in MIG and ARC welding techniques.
• Able to read and interpret engineering or architectural drawings.
• High attention to detail with neat, precise welds.
• Reliable and able to commute to Shipston-on-Stour workshop.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate bespoke architectural steel windows and doors from drawings.
• Weld using MIG and ARC processes to join thin and medium-gauge steel.
• Cut, grind, drill and prep steel components to exact tolerances.
• Self-inspect work to ensure flawless finishes for high-end clients.

Salary: £16.00 - £18.00 per hour to start with going up to £21p/h

Overtime: x1.3 during the week (over 40 hours), x1.5 on Saturdays

• Reliable, punctual, and able to commute to our workshop in Shipston-on-Stour.
