Job Opportunity: Welder/Fabricator

We are supporting a key client in the marine and oil & gas industry with their recruitment for a permanent Welder/Fabricator position. Due to company growth, we are seeking qualified candidates to join their team.

Key Skills and Requirements

• Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and MMA welding processes; training can be provided for those with some experience
• Experience in the marine, oil & gas, or offshore industry is highly desirable
• Ability to undertake 2 x 6G weld tests on a 2" pipe using TIG process, working with carbon and stainless steel
• A valid driving license is required

Responsibilities

• Perform welding and fabrication tasks in both shop and on-site environments
• Carry out TIG welding on carbon and stainless steel; ability to weld other materials is a plus
• Maintain a positive attitude, willingness to learn, and focus on stability

Additional Details

This is a permanent role with a standard 39-hour workweek, Monday to Friday, with overtime opportunities. The hourly rate is £19, with overtime paid at 1.5x after 39 hours and 2x on weekends or specified overtime hours.
