Job summary

Perfect Placement are representing a Worcestershire based specialist workshop seeking a fully experienced MIG/TIG Welder/Fabricator to join a small team on bespoke sports cars.

The role focuses on low-volume manufacturing with emphasis on quality and craftsmanship, welding steel and aluminium, fabricating chassis and components to exact jig specs.

They offer a basic salary of £36,000-£48,000 DOE, 40-hour week with early finish Friday, and 30 days holiday in a friendly family-run environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience as a Welder / Fabricator.
• Strong MIG and TIG welding skills.
• Experience working with steel and aluminium.
• Experience in chassis fabrication and welding.
• Confident fabricating automotive components.
• Ability to produce components accurately to jig specifications.
• Low-volume vehicle manufacturing experience would be highly beneficial.

Basic: £36,000 - £48,000+ DOE

Hours: Monday-Thursday 7:30am-5:00pm | Friday 8:00am-12:00pm

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a fully experienced MIG/TIG Welder / Fabricator to join a highly skilled and specialist team in Worcestershire.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a limited series of bespoke sports cars within a purpose-built, temperature-controlled workshop. Quality, craftsmanship and attention to detail are prioritised over production-line speed, making this an ideal role for someone who takes genuine pride in their work.
