Qualifications

• 5 years of MIG welding experience and 1 year of TIG welding experience.

Job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Welder / Fabricator to join a well-established engineering firm. This full-time role offers a competitive salary and benefits.

As a Welder / Fabricator, you will carry out MIG and TIG welding on various metals including mild and stainless steel.

Responsibilities include:

1. Working with cutting and forming equipment, as well as hand tools (full training provided).
2. Reading and interpreting technical drawings to produce custom fabrications.
3. Collaborating with the technical team to determine optimal manufacturing methods.
4. Contributing to process improvements and maintaining quality standards.

Candidate requirements:

• Experience as a Fabricator, Welder Fabricator, Welder, Welding Technician, TIG Welder, MIG Welder, or similar role.
• Experience welding and fabricating metal components (approximately 2mm to 10mm thick).
• Skilled in TIG and/or MIG welding techniques.
• Strong understanding of fabrication processes and ability to interpret engineering drawings.
• Ideally, 5 years of MIG welding experience and 1 year of TIG welding experience.

Shift details:

• Monday - Thursday: 08:00 - 17:00
• Friday: 08:00 - 13:00
