Holt Engineering in Downton is seeking a skilled TIG Welder to join our precision engineering team. You will weld thin-wall tubes and assemblies to exacting standards, using stainless steel and specialist alloys, and interpret detailed drawings for fabrication and assembly.

This role offers structured training, progression opportunities and regular overtime within a growing manufacturer with long-term contracts and a strong order book.

This TIG Welder opportunity is with a well-established precision engineering manufacturer in Downton, supplying complex fabricated assemblies and pipework into demanding industries where quality and accuracy are critical. Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• TIG weld thin-wall materials and tube assemblies to a high standard
• Manufacture and assemble precision fabricated components from engineering drawings
• Work with stainless steel, aluminium, titanium, Inconel and other specialist alloys
• Produce high-integrity welds to strict quality requirements
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical instructions
• Carry out fabrication, fitting and assembly work as required
• Maintain exceptional levels of quality, accuracy and attention to detail
• Work safely and effectively within a busy manufacturing environment
• Support continuous improvement and ongoing skill development

What They're Looking For

• Experience as a TIG Welder, Welder Fabricator or similar
• Strong TIG welding experience on thin-gauge materials
• Experience working with stainless steel and precision-engineered components
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Quality-focused approach with excellent attention to detail
• Experience producing work to high engineering standards
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn new processes and materials
