Welder / Fabricator Peterborough GBP15 GBP17 per hour (DOE)

Are you an experienced MIG/TIG Welder and Fabricator looking for your next opportunity? We re working with a fantastic client in Peterborough who is looking for someone to join their busy and supportive workshop team on a permanent basis with an immediate start available!

As a Welder / Fabricator, you ll be part of a friendly, fast-paced environment where quality workmanship and team spirit go hand-in-hand. If you're confident working from engineering drawings and enjoy a hands-on role, this could be the perfect fit.

Welder / Fabricator s Key Responsibilities:

1. Carrying out MIG and TIG welding tasks to a high standard
2. Fabricating components using workshop machinery such as press brakes and sheet rollers
3. Reading and interpreting technical engineering drawings
4. Working as part of a close-knit team to meet production deadlines
5. Maintaining a safe and clean working environment

Skills & Experience Required as a Welder / Fabricator:

1. Proven experience in MIG and TIG welding
2. Strong ability to read and work from engineering drawings
3. Confident using a variety of fabrication machinery and tools
4. Self-starter with a proactive and reliable work ethic
5. Able to hit the ground running in a busy workshop environment

Benefits Package:

1. GBP15 GBP17 per hour depending on experience
2. Overtime paid at 1.4x after 40 hours and 1.7x on Bank Holidays
3. 20 days holiday + Bank Holidays (with additional days based on service)
