Paying up to £18 per hour

Our client is a well-established company looking for a MIG Welder / Fabricator to join their team.

Role/Responsibilities of the MIG Welder

• Heavy Fabrication role
• Read, understand, and follow engineering drawings
• Use the most suitable welding method for the job
• Use various hand and power tools (grinders, cutting torches, hand files, hammers)
• Organise the work area before and after processing parts
• Detect and report equipment malfunctions
• Assist with fabricating precision components

Welder/Fabricator Skill Requirements

• Ability to MIG weld and fabricate mid to heavy gauge steel
• Complete necessary paperwork accurately
• Good concentration and attention to detail
• Excellent practical skills
• Safety-conscious approach to work
• Good hand-to-eye coordination
• Desirable: operate and set press brake machines, sling and use overhead cranes, forklift experience
