Job summary

East Midlands Recruitment is recruiting a Welder/Fabricator for a permanent role in the Alfreton area. You will perform MIG and TIG welding, read engineering drawings, and fabricate structural steel components to high quality standards.

Responsibilities include inspecting finished work, preparing components for welding and powder coating, and following SOPs/BOMs while maintaining safety in a fast-paced production environment. Company benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Level 3 welding accreditation or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience in MIG and TIG welding to a recognised standard.
• Experience working with mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Strong focus on quality, accuracy and attention to detail.
• Confidence to work independently, solve problems and check your own work.
• Good IT skills and a responsible approach to equipment and workplace safety.
• Experience in a fast-paced production environment.
