Job summary

Orion Electrotech is seeking a Welder to join our team in the Battle area. This permanent, full-time role offers a 6am–2pm Mon–Fri schedule and £17 per hour PAYE.

The position provides a solid career path with benefits and development prospects, enabling you to become a fully fledged Welder within a supportive business environment. The Welder will read and interpret engineering drawings, perform MIG welding to a high standard on mild steel (3mm–6mm), and maintain precision in bespoke work.

Qualifications

• Experience welding to a high standard.
• Ability to read and work from engineering drawings.
• Must be able to weld mild steel within 3mm–6mm thickness.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret engineering drawings and ISO quality standards.
• Perform MIG welding to a high commercial standard.
• Mild steel welding within 3mm–6mm thickness; deliver precise finishes.
• Work on bespoke projects requiring a high quality finish.
