Job summary

A leading engineering company in Reading is seeking a Welder for a 4-month contract involving a 10-day rotation. The ideal candidate will have Level 3 NVQ in Welding and be proficient in TIG welding to ISO standards. Applicants must possess a CSCS Card or CCNSG Safety Passport and be eligible for security clearance.

10 Day Rotation (Tuesday to Thursday)
11.5 hours Monday to Thursday, 10 hours Friday, Saturday, Sunday

Suitable candidates must be able to evidence:

Level 3 NVQ / Apprenticeship / City & Guilds in Welding
Suitable candidates will be required to test out to ISO 9606 standards in the following:
Weld Process: TIG
Weld Positions: H-L045 / 6G – Uphill at 45° angle
Material: CS - Dia: 0,25” to 8” - WT: 2mm to 20mm & SS – Dia: 0,25” to 8”, WT: 2mm to 20mm
CSCS Card Or CCNSG Safety Passport
Must be able to obtain or hold current Security Clearance
