Job summary

Prime Appointments Recruitment Agency are seeking a Welder for a busy Ipswich workshop on a rolling temporary contract. The role focuses on MIG welding with occasional TIG, reading drawings and fabricating parts in a clean, well-organised site.

Candidates with MIG experience and the ability to work from engineering drawings will be supported with training. Immediate start available, with daytime hours 06:30-15:00 and on-site work in Suffolk.

Qualifications

• MIG welding skills with TIG experience - not essential
• Ability to read engineering drawings and weld symbols
• Own initiative and ability to work independently
• Pride in delivering quality work with good attention to detail

Are you a MIG Welder looking for your next opportunity with a well-established engineering company?

We're recruiting for a Welder to join a busy workshop in Ipswich on a rolling contract. This role would suit both experienced welders and junior welders looking to develop their skills, with training and support available for the right person.

You'll be carrying out predominantly MIG welding, alongside some TIG welding and general fabrication duties, working from engineering drawings within a clean and organised workshop environment.

The Role

• MIG welding mild and stainless steel (2mm-15mm)

What We're Looking For
