Job summary

Prime-Appointments is seeking a Welder for a permanent role in Hadleigh, Suffolk. Immediate start with 40 hours per week, 07:30–16:00. Pay starts at £16 per hour with weekly pay and a pay rise after 3 months. Overtime is available during busy periods.

You will weld mild steel from 5mm+ and must be able to read engineering drawings and adhere to weld symbols. Possession of fabrication skills using a range of tools is expected.

Qualifications

• MIG welding of mild steel from 5mm onwards.
• Ability to read and work from engineering drawings.
• Follow health and safety standards and work independently.

Responsibilities

• MIG weld mild steel from 5mm+ to required specs.
• Fabricate using hand and power tools.
• Operate cutting, drilling and grinding machinery as needed.
• Adhere to all health and safety procedures.

We have a permanent position for a Welder in Hadleigh paying £15ph+ with overtime available during busy periods, all at increased rates of pay!

Hours of work are 07:30-16:00, 40 hours a week!

As a welder you will be expected to weld mild steel up from 5mm+. If you are an experienced fabricator, then you may qualify for a higher hourly rate.

• Always follow & adhere to the companies' health and safety standards

You will be required to work independently so it is essential that you can read and work from engineering drawings and comply with weld symbols and standards as required.

T his is a permanent position subject to a successful 3-month probation period.
