Job description

Job Title: Welder
Location: Lostock, Bolton
Duration: Permanent
Shifts: Days
Salary: 18.19 per hour (41'618k per annum)

We are currently recruiting for a number of Welders for positions based in Lostock, Bolton.

Our client is one of the largest and most successful steel-work contractors in the UK. They have recently won a large amount of work and are looking to extend their workforce.

We are looking for welders with experience in heavy engineering, who can weld using FCMAW in all positions, MAG weld in all positions, and can air arc gouge. Sub arc welding is advantageous but not necessary.

Shifts:
Day Shifts - Monday to Thursday - 6.45am-5pm and Friday - 6.45am-11.45am

Overtime rates available.

Candidates must be prepared to go on site for a weld test.

The weld test will include:

1. 1x vertical 10fw with FCMAW
2. 1x down hand butt weld with MAG
3. 1x10fw with MAG

Please note: This position is subject to a Drugs & Alcohol test.
