Role Overview

The Welder will carry out TIG/MIG production welding to the required standard and perform a range of welding and fabrication tasks to deliver high-quality output that meets customer demand.

Your Objectives and Responsibilities

• Ensure welding quality is maintained at all times.
• Adhere to the Company Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) policies.
• Complete positional MIG/TIG and MMA welds on carbon and stainless steel pipework and pressure valves.
• Work from standard operating procedures, engineering drawings, and weld procedures.
• Mark out, plasma cut, oxy-acetylene cut, burn, grind, and drill as required.
• Meet target efficiency and complete daily work plans, including operational bookings.
• Operate and set shop floor machines according to instructions.
• Operate a pendant overhead crane to move materials and finished fabrications.

Your Experience

• Experience working within a production environment in a similar role.
• Basic computer skills.
• Understanding of your impact on the department's performance.
