Job Opportunity: Welder

Join our team as a Welder working with a leading warehousing and distribution company. This is a long-term position with a guaranteed transition from temporary to permanent employment after 12 weeks.

Details:

• Shifts: 4 days a week, Monday to Thursday, 7:00 AM - 4:45 PM
• Rate of Pay: £15.75/hour

Role Overview:

Responsibilities include all aspects of welding using MIG and TIG in a production engineering environment, working with various materials requiring high standards, including MPI, X-Ray, and U/T examinations. Candidates must complete a short weld test covering horizontal butt, inclined vertical butt, downhand butt, overhead butt, and overhead fillet welds.

Requirements:

• Experience with both MIG and TIG welding
• Ability to weld various material thicknesses
• Team player, flexible with shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed

• Organized and able to prioritize workload
• Good numeracy and literacy skills
