Job summary

BAE Systems in Barrow-in-Furness is recruiting experienced Welders and Pipe Welders to join a specialist team on the latest submarine projects, Astute or Dreadnought. The role is on an ongoing 12-month contract with competitive rates for PAYE and Umbrella contractors.

You will perform TIG pipe welding as part of a skilled team on cutting-edge vessels, with shifts that affect pay rates. Depending on distance to Barrow and shift pattern, rates vary.

Job description

Our partner, BAE Systems, are seeking experienced Welders & Pipe Welders to join their growing team in Barrow on an ongoing 12-month contract, offering competitive rates for both locals and those willing to commute from further afield.

You will work as part of a specialist team, on the latest generation of Submarines, Either Astute or Dreadnought Projects.

BAE Systems offers a range of payrates for PAYE and Umbrella contractors, depending on your allocated shifts, and the distance you’re travelling to reach the Barrow Site.
