Job summary

Jackie Kerr Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of our client in Aylesbury for skilled Welders to join a growing manufacturing team. The role focuses on TIG welding, fabrication, and reading engineering drawings to exact specifications.

You will work shifts with a premium, supporting quality control and lean manufacturing processes, including MPI/Dye Pen inspections. Previous experience with stainless and carbon steel is essential, with at least two years in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Certified TIG welder with proven experience in stainless and carbon steels.
• Experience with flux core welding and quality control practices.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing and 5S workplace standards.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and welding symbols with IT literacy.
• Minimum of two years welding experience in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Carry out TIG welding and production duties as directed.
• Complete fabrication on a range of materials.
• Support the quality control process.
• Carry out MPI/ Dye Pen inspections.
• Demonstrate 5S culture in the workplace.

Our client located in Aylesbury that specialise within their market are currently recruiting for Welders to join their growing and experienced team!

Coded Welder Roles and Responsibilities:

• Carry out TIGwelding and production duties as directed
• Complete fabrication on a range of materials
• Support the quality control process
• Carry out MPI/ Dye Pen Inspections
• Demonstrate 5S culture in the work place
• Work from engineering drawings and customer specifications

The ideal Welder will:

• Be a certified TIGWelder
• Have experience working with Stainless Steel and Carbon Steel as a minimum
• Have experience of welding flux core
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing
• Be able to read engineering drawings, welding symbols and be IT literate
• Worked as a welder within a manufacturing company for at least 2 years

Working Hours:

• Monday – Wednesday 13:30 - 23:30
• Thursday 13:30 - 23:00
• 37.5 Hours a week
• Shift Premium
