Job summary

Smart Solutions is seeking a Weighbridge Operative in the UK to manage vehicle movements and weigh vehicles using CMNS. You will liaise with the tipping team to maintain flow and accuracy, while handling on-site admin tasks.

No weighbridge experience is required as full training will be provided; strong IT and admin skills, plus calm, professional interaction with the public and drivers, are essential. Shifts include early and late.

Qualifications

• Confident with computers and IT systems.
• Willing to learn new computer systems quickly.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisation.

Responsibilities

• Weighing waste vehicles in and out using the CMNS system as per schedule.
• Liaising with the Tipping Hall team to manage vehicle movements.
• Controlling the number of vehicles sent for tipping at any time.
• Acting as first point of contact for visitors and drivers on site.
• Completing site inductions for waste vehicle drivers.
• Accurately recording and processing information on computer systems.
• Dealing with drivers and visitors in a polite, professional manner.
• Supporting the smooth running of the site and general admin duties.
