Osborne Appointments represents a client in Stevenage and seeks a reliable Weighbridge Operative to join their site. 6:00am–3:00pm, Monday to Friday, with some Saturdays and overtime available.

You will operate the weighbridge, complete tickets, and help with material grading. Full training is provided, with the opportunity to progress to further FL training in the future.

Job description

Weighbridge Operative

We are currently looking for aWeighbridge Operativeto join client based in Stevenage. This is a great opportunity for someone who is reliable, motivated and keen to learn, with full training available for the right candidate.

Hours

6:00am - 3:00pm, Monday to Friday

Some Saturdays available asovertime paid at time and a half

Pay

• £13.70 per hour- no FL experience required
• £13.95 per hour- with FL experience
• Annual bonus
• Full training available, with the opportunity to work towards FL training in the future

Duties

• Operating the weighbridge and completing weighbridge tickets
• Material grading - experience is preferred butfull training can be provided
• Ensuring paperwork is completed accurately and legibly
• Supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the site

The ideal candidate

• Self-driven and motivated
• Reliable and punctual
• Keen and willing to learn
• Able to produce clear, legible handwriting for weighbridge tickets
• Experienced in material grading is advantageous, but not essential
• Responsible and able to work independently
