Job summary

Allscreens Nationwide Ltd in the NP11 area is seeking a reliable Weighbridge Operator to manage the weighbridge and ensure accurate recording of waste movements at our busy site.

You will direct drivers, maintain a safe, efficient traffic flow around the site, and work with operatives to check loads while following all Health & Safety procedures.

Hours are Monday to Friday, 07:30–18:00, and pay is £13.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Experience operating a weighbridge and recording weights accurately.
• Ability to record vehicle and waste information clearly and accurately.
• Attention to health and safety procedures on site.

Responsibilities

• Operate the weighbridge to record inbound/outbound waste vehicle weights.
• Record waste movements accurately in the site management system.
• Check and record vehicle and waste information.
• Direct drivers to loading or unloading areas.
• Maintain a safe and efficient traffic flow around the site.
• Communicate clearly with drivers, operatives and management.
• Report discrepancies in loads or weighbridge records.
• Complete relevant paperwork and admin duties.
• Answer queries from drivers and visitors.
• Follow site Health & Safety procedures.
• Keep the weighbridge office clean and organised.
• Carry out other reasonable duties as required.

Job description

We are currently recruiting for a reliable and organised Weighbridge Operator to join a busy waste and recycling site in the NP11 area.

This role will involve operating the site weighbridge, accurately recording waste movements and assisting with the safe and efficient flow of vehicles around the site.

Duties will include:

• . Operating the weighbridge system to accurately record the weight of incoming and outgoing waste vehicles
• . Ensuring all waste movements are recorded correctly within the site management system
• . Checking and recording relevant vehicle and waste information
• . Directing drivers to the appropriate loading or unloading areas
• . Maintaining a safe and efficient flow of traffic around the site
• . Communicating clearly with drivers, site operatives and management
• . Reporting any discrepancies or issues with loads or weighbridge records
• . Completing relevant paperwork and administrative duties
• . Answering queries from drivers and visitors
• . Following all site Health & Safety procedures
• . Keeping the weighbridge office clean and organised
• . Carrying out other reasonable duties as required
