Job summary

FM Conway is recruiting a Weighbridge Operative to join the Aggregate and Asphalt division. You will assist with programming, transport allocation and mixing schedules to maximise resources and meet requirements.

The role is full time, permanent, working Monday-Friday, 6:00am - 4:00pm at our Erith depot. Experience on a weighbridge and a full UK driving licence are essential, with a team-focused approach and strong communication.

• Team player with good verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with lorry drivers to advise workload and schedule.
• Ensure vehicles leaving site have correct weight and documents.
• Maintain stock to meet daily requirements.
• Maintain weighbridge records to company standards.
• Coordinate with service coordinator to meet customer needs.
• Receive and record goods daily.
• Record all return loads in system.

Job description

FM Conway is looking to recruit a Weighbridge Operative to join the Aggregate and Asphalt. As our Weighbridge Operative you will assist with the programming, transport allocation and mixing schedule to ensure maximisation of all company resources and requirements. This is a full time, permanent position, working Monday- Friday, 6:00am - 4:00pm at our Erith depot.

The duties of the Weighbridge Operative role will include:

• Liaising with lorry drivers to advise them of their individual workload and schedule
• Ensuring that all vehicles leaving the site are of the correct weight and have the appropriate documents
• Maintaining stock to an optimum level to fulfil daily requirements
• Ensuring all necessary weighbridge records are maintained to company standards
• Liaising with the service coordinator to ensure all customer needs are met
• Receiving and recording goods in daily
• Recording all return loads on the system
• Complying with company health, safety and environmental policy, highlighting any issues appropriately

We are looking for candidates who have experience of working on a weighbridge and hold a full UK driving license. To be considered for this role it is essential that you are a team player, with good verbal and written communication skills.
