Job summary

Appoint Consulting Recruitment Specialists in Grimsby is seeking two reliable Weighbridge Operators to join a busy recycling and processing business on a job-share basis.

Role involves weighing, paperwork, customer service to drivers and suppliers, and general administration. Hours are roughly 25 hours per week each, Mon-Fri 7:30am–5:00pm with alternate Saturday mornings, £13.50 per hour and overtime after 39 hours.

Qualifications

• Driving licence required due to location.
• Experience operating a weighbridge is preferred.
• Ability to provide quality customer service.
• Willingness to perform general admin duties.

Responsibilities

• Operating the weighbridge and accurately recording vehicle weights.
• Processing paperwork and maintaining detailed records.
• Providing excellent customer service to drivers, customers and suppliers.
• Handling enquiries and directing visitors appropriately.
• Ensuring compliance with company procedures and health & safety requirements.
• Reporting discrepancies and operational issues promptly.
• Supporting the wider team with general administration duties.

We're looking for two reliable Weighbridge Operators to join a busy recycling and processing business in Grimsby on a job-share basis. Driving License required due to the location.

This is an excellent opportunity for people seeking flexible hours while working within a supportive, professional environment. The successful candidates will share responsibility for the weighbridge operation and provide holiday cover for each other when required.

Hours

• Job share arrangement of approximately 25 hours per week each between the hours of Monday to Friday: 7:30am to 5:00pm
• Alternate Saturday mornings until 11:00am
• Flexibility required to provide holiday cover for your job share partner

Key Responsibilities

• Operating the weighbridge and accurately recording vehicle weights
