Job summary

Richardson International in Portgordon is seeking a Weighbridge Operator to ensure accurate weighing, testing and intake of grain and malt products. You will support the site team with quality checks, data entry and timely dispatch, while maintaining cleanliness and compliance with food safety standards.

A full UK driving license is essential, and you should be able to work flexibly across shifts. Experience in weighbridge or laboratory settings is desirable, with a commitment to safety and

Qualifications

• Experience in weighbridge and laboratory testing
• Able to work flexible shifts
• Proven accuracy in data entry and paperwork
• Knowledge of FEMAS or food safety is a plus

Responsibilities

• Test raw materials to meet specifications and input weighbridge tickets
• Input tickets from the previous day and during hours
• Assist with loading and dispatch of malt product and feed
• Carry out sample testing at pre-steep, malt, pellet and bulk
• Maintain calibration of weighbridge and lab equipment
• Ensure paperwork and grain management system are up to date
• Support health and safety procedures and site cleanliness
