Job summary

Booker Group operates a large warehouse site in Didcot, part of Tesco plc. The role involves picking, packing and loading customer food orders, stock checks and basic hygiene duties on a multi-shift pattern, with training and progression opportunities within the business.

Successful candidates will work 5 days a week on early, late or night shifts and must have flexible, reliable teamwork skills. Basic literacy and numeracy are required; prior warehouse or forklift experience is desirable.

Job description

As a member of our warehouse team you will undertake challenging and rewarding work and play a pivotal role in ensuring we fulfil our customers' needs.

OurBooker Retail Partnerssitein Didcot is a 245,000 sq ft, modern, multi-temperature food service site.

There is also great scope for training, development and progression within the company.

Successful candidates will be required to work 5 days per week between Sunday and Friday with shift hours of 06:00 hrs to 14:00 hrs (the early day shift) one week and 14:00 hrs to 22:00 hrs (the late day shift) the next week.
Limited positions are also available on the night shift with hours of 22:00 hrs to 06:00 hrs.

Processing goods in effectively and efficiently

Performing stock checks as and when necessary

Replenishing the DC with goods in stock

Performing the necessary hygiene checks

We are looking for flexible, reliable people with a 'can do' attitude and great team working ethics who will supportBooker RetailPartnersin achieving its aim to ensure 100% customer satisfaction.

A basic understanding of Health and Safety is essential, along with a good standard of literacy and numeracy skills.

The following are desirable, however, full training is provided regardless of prior experience:

• previous warehouse experience
• LLOP or PPT truck experience
• counterbalance truck license / experience
• FLT license / experience
