Job summary

Premier Placement Services is recruiting for an Assembly Operative in Newcastle-under-Lyme. You will use hand and power tools to assemble mechanical components for commercial vehicles, following blueprints and drawings.

The role requires 1–2 years manufacturing experience, reliability, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Pay is £13.00–£13.50 per hour, with weekly pay; day shifts from 08:00 to 16:30, Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and rebuild mechanical components for commercial vehicles.
• Use hand/power and air tools to fit parts.
• Interpret blueprints and engineering drawings to ensure accurate fitting.
• Quality check parts and final assemblies for defects or misalignment, ensuring safety and quality standards.
