Job summary

Premier Placement Services is recruiting for an Assembly Operative in Newcastle-under-Lyme. You will use hand and power tools to assemble mechanical components for commercial vehicles, following blueprints and drawings.

The role requires 1–2 years manufacturing experience, reliability, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Pay is £13.00–£13.50 per hour, with weekly pay; day shifts from 08:00 to 16:30, Monday to Friday.

Premier Placement Services are currently recruiting Assembly Operatives for our client based in Newcastle-under-Lyme, Staffordshire.

Pay: £13.00 - £13.50 per hour

Shift: Monday to Friday, 08:00am-16:30pm.

Candidate duties:

• Using hand/power and air tools
• Assembling and rebuilding mechanical components for commercial vehicles.
• Interpreting blueprints and engineering drawings to ensure accurate fitting
• Quality checking parts and final assemblies for defects or misalignment, ensuring all work meets company quality standards and safety regulations

Candidate Requirements:

• Previous experience using hand and power tools
• Minimum 1-2 years manufacturing experience
• Physically capable
• Reliability and positive attitude.
• Ability to work independently or within a team
