Job summary

SRUC's Scottish National Equestrian Centre at Oatridge invites applications for a Yard Supervisor. You will join a friendly team, help look after a stable of up to 30 horses, and supervise students carrying out duties.

The role is permanent, weekend part-time up to 22 hours per week. You will ensure welfare standards, adhere to SRUC regulations, and may take on additional duties as directed by the Stable Manager.

Qualifications

• British Horse Society qualification or equivalent training.

Responsibilities

• Assist with looking after a stable of up to 30 horses and supervise students carrying out their duties.
• Maintain the standards expected by the Stable Manager, the Organisation and any regulatory or welfare obligations expected by the governing organisations
• The post-holder will perform additional duties as directed from time to time by the Stable Manager
• The post holder will mainly work weekends and may be required to cover extra shifts as and when required with prior notice given
