Job summary

Visiting Angels Leeds & Wakefield is seeking caring care assistants to join weekend shifts supporting older people at home across Leeds and Wakefield. No previous care experience is required, as full training and ongoing support are provided, with flexibility for extra weekday hours if desired.

You'll follow each client's care plan—from companionship and meal preparation to personal care and light housekeeping.

Qualifications

• No prior care experience required; full training provided.
• Must have a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
• Availability to work weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and engage clients in activities.
• Assist with personal care, meals, and daily routines.
• Help with mobility and safe movement around the home.
• Drive clients to appointments, shopping or outings.
• Keep accurate records on our digital system.
• Support clients living with dementia with patience.
