Job summary

Visiting Angels Leeds & Wakefield is seeking kind and reliable Care Assistants for weekend and potential weekday hours in Leeds and Wakefield. Training is provided, and you support older adults to stay happy, safe and independent in their own homes.

Responsibilities include companionship, personal care as trained, meal support, light housekeeping, and mobility assistance. Driving licence preferred; driving may be required to reach clients.

Qualifications

• No care experience required; full training provided.
• Must be reliable, patient and empathetic.
• Good spoken and written English essential.
• Must be available weekends and drive to client homes.
• Own transport not always required, but a driving licence is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and wellbeing support.
• Assist with personal care as trained.
• Help with meals, shopping and appointments.
• Light housekeeping to keep homes clean and safe.
• Support mobility and safe daily routines.
• Transport clients to appointments or activities.
