Job summary

Radis Community Care is seeking a Support Worker for our Extra Care Scheme in Malvern Wells. The role focuses on assisting elderly residents with personal care, mobility and daily activities to help maintain independence.

The position involves lone working during weekend nights (10pm–7am) with an on-call support system and time for communal cleaning. Training toward Care Certificate and other modules is provided.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal care activities such as washing, personal hygiene and dressing.
• Support residents with mobility to move to dining areas, communal spaces and bedrooms on request.
• Engage residents in recreational and social activities, individually and in groups.
• Work as lone worker with on-call system and do communal cleaning in the village.
• Promote residents' independence, dignity and respect through high standards of care.
