Job summary

Vets Now in Belfast is seeking a weekend Veterinary Nurse to join our emergency team. Shifts include Saturdays 12:00-19:30 and Sundays 08:30-19:30 in Week 1, with additional weekend hours in Week 4 19:00-09:00 and bank holidays.

You will work in our out-of-hours clinics, support triage, surgery, anaesthesia, and in-patient care. RCVS registration for at least six months is required; ECC experience is advantageous. We offer benefits and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• RCVS registration for at least six months is required.
• Motivated to maintain high clinic standards.
• Passionate about caring for clients and their pets.

Responsibilities

• First Aid - give appropriate advice over the phone and in clinic.
• Critical Care - monitor major body systems, in-patient trends, pain and wound care.
• Diagnostics - perform basic diagnostic procedures in a sole charge capacity.
