Job summary

Vets Now Worcester provides out-of-hours veterinary care for dogs, cats and small animals. The role involves delivering emergency and critical care, working 1:4 weekends (Sat 1600-2200, Sun 0830-1830) and sharing bank holidays on a fixed-term basis.

Qualifications

• Veterinary degree or equivalent recognition.
• Experience providing emergency/critical care to small animals preferred.
• Ability to work out-of-hours shifts, including weekends and bank holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency and critical care for sick and injured small animals.
• Work 1:4 weekends (Sat 16:00–22:00, Sun 08:30–18:30) with additional bank holiday coverage.
• Contribute to high-quality patient care in out-of-hours settings.

Vets Now Worcester provides out-of-hours veterinary care for dogs, cats and small animals. Our team, work nights, weekends and bank holidays to provide emergency and critical care for sick and injured small animals when they need it most.

Out-of-hours doesn’t mean all hours, and the flexibility and support we provide makes balancing life easier for many of our team. If you’re looking to pick up weekend hours or enhance your ECC skills, this role could be ideal. We’re looking for a Vet Surgeon to work 1:4 weekends (Saturday 1600-2200 Sunday 0830-1830), plus a share of bank holidays, on a fixed term basis.
