Vets Now Northampton is seeking a Vet Surgeon to join our emergency and critical care team on a part-time fixed term basis. You will provide urgent care for dogs, cats and small animals, working nights, weekends and bank holidays as part of a 37-hour week.
You’ll operate on a 1:2 night-day rotation with a 13-week rolling rota; night shifts 19:00–09:00 and day shifts 12:00–19:30 on Saturdays and 08:30–19:30 on Sundays.
Vets Now Northampton provides out-of-hours veterinary care for dogs, cats and small animals. Our team, work nights, weekends and bank holidays to provide emergency and critical care for sick and injured small animals when they need it most. We’re looking for a Vet Surgeon to join our team, on a part-time fixed term basis, to provide emergency care when it’s needed the most.
This role consists of working an average of 37 hours per week across weekday nights, weekend days and nights (1:2 rotation), as well as a share of bank holidays – never working more than three nightshifts in a row. The 13-week rolling rota will feature an average of seven shifts every four weeks – nightshifts are 1900-0900, and dayshifts are 1200-1930 on a Saturday and 0830-1930 on a Sunday.
