Job summary

Vets Now Belfast is seeking a Veterinary Surgeon to join our Emergency and Critical Care (ECC) team on a weekend-only basis. This role offers structured, flexible rotas including Saturday and Sunday shifts, with night coverage options to support pet owners when they need care most.

Vets Now Belfast are welcoming applications from Out of Hours (OOH) Veterinary Surgeons with a passion for Emergency and Critical Care to join their team on a weekend-only basis. Vets Now is the UK’s leading provider of emergency veterinary care, with a nationwide network of out of hours clinics and 24/7 emergency hospitals. As part of Inspiring Vet Care, our teams make a difference to pets and their owners when they need us most.

Out-of-hours doesn’t mean all hours. This role offers a structured and flexible rota, ideal for those looking to supplement their work or develop their ECC experience. A range of weekend and night shifts are available, including:

• Saturday: 12:00–19:30
• Sunday: 08:30–19:30
• Sunday: 09:00–19:00
• Night shifts: 19:00–09:00

We can offer different shift patterns to suit your availability, making this a great opportunity whether you're looking for additional hours, weekend work or the chance to build your ECC experience alongside another role.
