Job summary

Vets Now Middlesbrough is seeking a Weekend Vet Surgeon to join our emergency team. The role focuses on critical care for private patients with a flexible rota, delivering urgent treatment when most needed.

You’ll work alongside experienced clinicians in a supportive ECC environment, with opportunities to develop skills. Competitive pay, a recognition bonus pro rata, and relocation assistance are offered.

Qualifications

• Out-of-hours veterinary surgeon with a passion for Emergency and Critical Care (ECC).
• Weekend availability as described in the rota.
• Experience in emergency veterinary care is beneficial.

• Collaborate with a team of clinicians and support staff to deliver timely treatment.

Up to £45ph DOE

Vets Now Middlesbrough are welcoming applications from Out of Hours (OOH) Veterinary Surgeons with a passion for Emergency and Critical Care to join their team on a weekend-only basis. Rewarding work, your way

Out-of-hours doesn’t mean all hours. This role offers a structured and flexible rota ideal for those looking to supplement their work or develop ECC experience: Repeating every four weeks, the rota is as follows:

• Week 1: Saturday 15:00–21:00 and Sunday 11:00–21:00
• Week 2: Off
• Week 3: Sunday 11:00–21:00
• Week 4: Off

With no PDSA involvement, this role is focused purely on delivering high quality private emergency care in a well supported environment.
