National Care Group is recruiting for a weekend Support Worker at Merryden to join our team. You will support young adults (18+) with complex mental health needs, helping them plan daily activities, maintain independence, and improve wellbeing within a caring, inclusive environment.

The role involves practical support, personal care assistance, and facilitating activities and outings in a respectful, supportive manner. Training and development opportunities are provided.

Formación

• Excellent listening and communication skills.

• Team player able to work effectively with colleagues.
• Resilience to keep going during challenging times and to ask for help when needed.

Responsabilidades

• Build positive relationships with people by listening, discussing, and planning goals together.
• Help plan daily tasks and assist with practical activities such as cooking, cleaning and errands.
• Assist with personal care, which may include support with eating and medication administration.
• Help plan and participate in days out and activities the individual wishes to enjoy.
• Support individuals to become more independent wherever possible.
