Job summary

Key Care & Support in Trafford is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to deliver high-quality, person-centred care to people with learning disabilities and autism. You will work weekend shifts with flexible hours and may have guaranteed hours on some contracts, requiring a UK driver’s licence and at least 12 months UK care experience.

You will communicate clearly, respect dignity, and support independent living in homes and communities.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 12 months UK experience in a similar care role.
• Must hold a UK Driver’s Licence (valid for at least the last 12 months).
• Flexible weekend availability (min 20–24 hours).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Person-centred approach and commitment to high standards of care.

Responsibilities

• Support people to live independently at home and in the community.
• Assist with daily tasks: budgeting, housework, appointments, meals.
• Promote social inclusion and positive relationships.
• Provide personal care as required and follow care plans.
