Join Our Team as a Weekend Support Worker
Location: | Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire |
Salary: | £12.30 per hour plus benefits |
Hours: | 7.00 am – 3.00 pm, 8.00 am – 4.00 pm, 1:00 pm– 9.00 pm, 2:00 pm– 10:00 pm Saturday and Sunday on a shift rota basis. Please note, shifts may vary due to the needs of the people we support. |
Contract: | Part time, Permanent |

We're looking for individuals to join our colleague team who can stay calm under pressure, who are enthusiastic, proactive, and capable of handling behaviours others might find challenging. If you have a manual UK driving license and are comfortable driving alternative vehicles, you're exactly who we're looking for.

Who you will be Supporting?
At Waterside House, we support 14 individuals with various disabilities including visual impairment, autism, physical disabilities, mental health, and learning disabilities. Here are some of their interests:
John* loves music, has his own radio show, and enjoys talking about music and the weather.
Jan* is a football fan, plays the Ukulele, and was part of the Salvation Army band.
Jane* loves Reiki, art, animals, and Coldplay.
Joe* is a music enthusiast, calls her wheelchair Katy Perry, and has extensive knowledge of music.
Josh* is a history enthusiast, social, and loves swimming.
Jake* is a people person, volunteers at a hospital, and was invited to Buckingham Palace.
Jon* is independent, enjoys cinema and meeting friends, and has achieved skydiving with support.
