Job description

Job Title: Children`s Residential Support Worker

Location: Wiltshire
Pay Rate:
  • Days: £12.21– £17.25 per hour (PAYE)
  • Nights: £12.21– £18.00 per hour (PAYE)
  • Sleep-in: £60.00 per sleep-in
Employment Details:
  • Type: Temporary | Full-Time & Part-Time options available
  • Shift Patterns: Day, Weekend & Night Shifts
  • Hours: 160 hours per month, flexible to the needs of the home, including shifts and sleep-ins. Typical shifts include 10am to 11pm with sleep-ins, or 8am to 10pm. Shifts may be consecutive days with extended breaks.
About the Role

Meridian Business Support is seeking Residential Support Workers for our client, a provider of high-quality Supported Accommodation Services across the UK.

As a Residential Support Worker, your responsibilities include:

  • Supporting young people in daily activities, hobbies, social interactions, and skill development.
  • Assisting with morning routines and preparing young people for school with nutritious breakfasts.
  • Preparing evening meals and maintaining a safe, relaxing home environment.
  • Helping young people reach their potential and explore new opportunities.
What We’re Looking For
  • Qualifications: Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People’s Workforce
  • Driving Licence: Full UK driving licence required
  • Experience with Children: In care, education, or similar settings; passion and energy are key
  • Enthusiasm & Resilience: Positive attitude and effective challenge handling
