Weekend Supervisor
Shifts - Friday - Monday - 40 Hours per week
Pay Rate - £16ph
Location - St James's Park
Permanent - ASAP Starts

Manpower are currently recruiting for an experienced Team Leader with a background in grounds maintenance and cleansing to work for our client as a Weekend Supervisor. In this role you will be overseeing high-specification cleansing activities for parks in London. The role involves managing seasonal and permanent teams, driving Dustcarts/Sweepers, litter picking, and maintaining parks to ensure a clean, enjoyable environment for the public. You'll also liaise with clients, work with the management team, schedule tasks, and handle ad-hoc requests, ensuring compliance with HR, Health & Safety, and other procedures.

Job Responsibilities:

Oversee daily operations during the weekend shifts to ensure smooth functioning.
Manage and lead a team of staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as health and safety regulations.
Monitor staff performance and provide constructive feedback to enhance productivity.
Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues that may arise promptly.
Assist in training new employees and promoting a positive team culture.
Prepare and maintain accurate reports on weekend operations and staff performance.
Collaborate with management to implement improvements and achieve operational goals.
Required Skills & Qualifications:

Must be happy to be hands-on and support the team with cleansing duties in the park, litter picking and bin emptying.
Proven experience in team leading or supervising complex grounds maintenance & cleansing activities.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage professionally with clients and stakeholders
Knowledge of Health & Safety practices and the correct use of PPE.
Dustcart/Sweeper experience an advantage, but training can be provided.
Full clean B1 Driving License.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
Proficient in using standard office software and reporting tools.
