Job summary

Amulet in Stamford is seeking a Security Officer to join our team. We require dedicated individuals who will help ensure the safety and security of our premises, with strong attention to detail, excellent communication, and the ability to handle challenging situations professionally.

The role covers visible deterrence, access control, patrols, locking/unlocking, inspections, and issuing passes. The position includes weekend shifts (Sat 0600–1800 and Sun 0600–1800) at £13.45 per hour, with

Qualifications

• At least one year of security experience.
• Strong customer service focus across shifts.
• Clear verbal and written English communication.
• Ability to stay calm under pressure and maintain professionalism.
• Excellent observation and surveillance abilities.
• Good organisational and record-keeping skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as a visible deterrent to prevent unauthorised access or activities.
• Perform access control and monitor entry points.
• Patrol premises regularly to maintain safety and security.
• Lock and unlock buildings at start/end of shifts.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify security risks.
• Issue access passes and maintain accurate records.
