Job summary

Sodexo is seeking a Food Service Assistant at Churcher's College in Petersfield, Hampshire. The role focuses on maintaining cleanliness, supporting school events, and delivering a safe, welcoming environment for pupils, staff, and visitors.

The position is part-time, Saturdays only, with breakfast-to-late afternoon hours and term-time only, offering the chance to contribute to a respected school community while gaining valuable experience in a dynamic setting.

Qualifications

Experience in hospitality or school support preferred.
Ability to maintain high cleanliness standards.
Willingness to follow safeguarding and health & safety procedures.
Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

Maintain high standards of cleanliness across the Senior School.
Complete daily cleaning tasks efficiently and in line with schedules.
Help create a safe, clean, welcoming environment for pupils, staff and visitors.
Follow safeguarding, health and safety, and fire safety procedures at all times.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver an excellent service.
Report any incidents, concerns or maintenance issues promptly.
Support school events and undertake additional duties when required.
