Job summary

The Entertainer in Leeds is seeking a friendly Sales Assistant to deliver outstanding customer service, share knowledge of our toy range, and help customers enjoy a memorable shopping experience.

You will demonstrate products, assist with tills, and keep the shop looking inviting and well merchandised on busy weekend days. Weekend availability is essential; pay is age-dependent, with 16–20 year olds earning £11.15 per hour and 21+ earning £12.71 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding customer service, prioritising customers and delivering a great shopping experience.

• Process sales transactions accurately, securely and efficiently through the till points.
• Maintain merchandising of toys to company standards

Key Information about this role:

16-20 year olds - £11.15per hour.

21-year-oldplus - £12.71per hour

What your responsibilities will include:

• Deliver outstanding customer service, prioritising customers and delivering a great shopping experience.
• Sharing your knowledge about our product range and offering helpful advice to our customers.

• Process sales transactions accurately, securely and efficiently through the till points.
• Maintain merchandising of toys to company standards

Weekends are our busy time so we need to be able to deliver a great experience to our customers. We will offer you a 10 - hour contract, working 4-hour shifts on a Saturday and 6-hour shifts on a Sunday. Depending on the trading hours of the store you’re applying for it is also important that you are able to be flexible with start and finish times. We may also ask you to help the store by working extra hours especially at Christmas and in school holidays.
