Job summary

The Entertainer in Dunfermline is seeking a Sales Assistant to deliver outstanding customer service, share knowledge about our toy range, and assist with product demonstrations. You will process transactions, maintain merchandising standards, and contribute to a memorable shopping experience for families and children.

Ideal candidates are confident, hardworking and enthusiastic about toys, with weekend availability and a friendly, approachable demeanor.

Key Information about this role:

• 16-20 year olds - £11.15per hour.
• 21-year-oldplus - £12.71per hour

What your responsibilities will include:

• Deliver outstanding customer service, prioritising customers and delivering a great shopping experience.
• Sharing your knowledge about our product range and offering helpful advice to our customers.
• Actively participate in demonstrating products and occasional character visit days.
• Process sales transactions accurately, securely and efficiently through the till points.
• Maintain merchandising of toys to company standards

Weekends are our busy time so we need to be able to deliver a great experience to our customers. We will offer you a 10 - hour contract, working 4-hour shifts on a Saturday and 6-hour shifts on a Sunday. Depending on the trading hours of the store you’re applying for it is also important that you are able to be flexible with start and finish times. We may also ask you to help the store by working extra hours especially at Christmas and in school holidays.
